Chained in lunar magic, it wasn't her fault her mom went crazy but she now must be contained. The lunar necklace had warped into something tainted.

As she grew older he mom used her as a weapon. She clasped the red bracelet upon her wrist linking her to to her mothers necklace allowing her to be forcefully controlled. Destroying anything in her path. When her mom was killed, the link broke but she couldn't control all the power. Lexi chained the power within her to keep it at bay (using /not using the bracelet? Was it destroyed already?) but she can not be trusted. Lexi and the other nesting clinic wolves are trying to find a way to break the bond between the bracelet and Malieficent and release the magic without killing Maleficent.

When her mother died the power overtook her and she ran. Her power randomly taking out wolves, sending them to other lands when she dare speak to someone. She was scared and cried but it created thunder and more havoc. Late King TObias's family we're looking for her, and probably wanted to kill her she thought. Lexi was the only one who had tried to help her in the castle.

Lexi and Wren finally discover a way to unclassified/destroy the ruby bracelet with the two lunar talismans. Malieficent fights but passes out and wakes a month later disoriented but calm, her eyes had turned back to normal color but she still had abnormal powers like shooting a purple Cnitherian light.
