Soot

A humble and sweet pup whom everyone thought would not survive the second night. Out of a litter of two, he was the survivor. He still thinks about what it would be like if his brother Ashes survived. His loss was, and still is, remembered. Since that day, many other pups have come along, all stronger and bigger than Soot. He can't seem to keep up. He is a fighter, but, sadly, he is not as strong, fast, or smart as the other pups. He tries his best, but tends to mess up. His parents were always there to support him, though. Another pup named Juniper joined the pack recently. Apparently, they're supposed to be the next herbalist and Olive has been tasked with their protection. While it was only one other pup, it impacted Soot's survival chances quite a bit… In fear that Soot would not survive here, his parents discussed their options. They told Soot that they might send him somewhere new. It was heartbreaking for Soot, but over time he realized it was for the best. It was because his parents cared about him that they sent him away… He would do his best to fit into his new home! They would get along with a new pack and maybe new pups too! As Soot grew into his new home, he began to make friends with the other pups his age and join them during training sessions. He longs to hunt on the hunting team, but there aren't enough spots yet. For now, he helps take care of the puppies in the pack until a position opens for him.
