Lemongrass

Lemongrass is a goofy, reliable herbalist, and while he may not be a natural at his job, he has grown acclimated to it after some months. His title is not to be taken lightly, he sticks to his morals, values, and loved ones through whatever is thrown at him with impressive resiliency. He will, guaranteed, keep a secret to death, unless he believed it must be told to ensure somebodies safety, because of this, he is not only a healer for physical wounds but a therapist for mental wounds. Lemongrass is also very flirty, though he makes sure not to cross boundaries, specifically to Sunswept, who he has a crush on; though he knows that the latter has (complicated) feelings for Forenoon.
His backstory is a dark one, he comes from a distant pack, where he and his family was manipulated by a vicious leader. After the neglect and abuse and erratic, sudden punishments became too bad, he started to yearn to leave. He never planned to as he was too young, but the leader became suspicious, and the only options he had were to flee or stay and endure even harsher punishments. He fled at only nine months old, still an adolescent, narrowly escaping. After that, Lemongrass wandered for about a year, until he found a wolf named Sunswept. He had originally never planned to join a pack as he was thriving on his own and he was afraid of being lured into a pack like the one he had been born into, but he felt attraction to Sunswept, so he managed to flirt his way into the Sky Tides pack. When he eventually found out that Sunswept was courting a mate that he had two daughters with, he still decided to stay, and found a comfortable place as the much needed herbalist. He put his life into his herbalist work, knowing that he didn't have a chance with Sunswept. Sunswept and Forenoon's relationship ended when Swiftlet heard Sunswept confiding in Lemongrass about his plans to send Swiftlet to the Enclave, a bear's sanctuary for abandoned pups. The rest is history, but Lemongrass could tell Sunswept never truly got over Forenoon. Almost a year went by until Lemongrass finally talked to Sunswept about his feelings. That was it. Lemongrass gave up on any relationship he had with Sunswept, but he never gave up on his work. He wanted to adopt a pup, but he didn't have a pair bond to do it with, so he didn't have much other than his job, which he was perfect at. When he was just over six years old, half a month after Forenoon had died, he gave his job to Sleepy, a young yearling in the pack. He semi-retired, switching to the less stressful job of being a mentor to the puppies of the pack, though it wasn't long until he returned to his job of being a herbalist. At the age of six years and three months, Lemongrass died
Lemongrass was named for his dull green fur that resembles the color of the Lemongrass plant, and his brown pawpads that resemble soil that lemongrass would grow in.
