Although Shales loves his role in watching over pups of the pack, his favorite thing to do after a long day is talk with another adult. His favorite wolf to talk to, of course, is Gyps. She definitely doesn't hold back in her conversations, which is a nice change of pace. Gyps also never holds back with her jokes, and Shale swears they're the funniest things he's ever heard (he's careful to make sure the pups are out of earshot, as her language is often..."offensive").
