Moss Pelt

During the lesson: Ash laid out different herbs for Moss Pelt to smell with his eyes closed, huffing at him when he attempted to peek. Your nose is your strongest sense when it comes to identifying herbs!

During the lesson: Moss Pelt frantically dug in the soft ground, able to smell the toy but not find it. A little upset, he kept trying for a long while, and Dew was impressed with such determination.

During the lesson: Moss Pelt threw his head back and let out his best howl. It was a little weak, but a good start!

During the lesson: The lesson today focused on relaying information accurately among pack members. Moss Pelt sat with several other pups as they whispered the same sentence around the circle and tried to keep it the same, but when it came back to Coyote it was hilariously different than when it started.

During the lesson: Caroline didn't even need to describe the hunt's setup when Moss Pelt started stalking the carcass and pouncing, finishing the hunt with small nibbles at the throat. Excited, but smart.

During the lesson: Barry asked the class to prepare tiny gifts today for every packmate and practice graciousness even if the gift is rejected. Moss Pelt enjoyed getting to know his packmates better through the gift giving.

During the lesson: Moss Pelt lost his way and panicked for a while but was able to use Corey's advice and tips to find his way again. Even the most experienced scouts can get lost sometimes, and it was nothing to be ashamed of.
