竜座 Ryūza had wanted to name him after フェアーネン Fírnen, a great green dragon of old, but also wanted a name like her own. So, out of all the names she could've chosen, she choose 緑発 Ryūfa as a combination of hers and フェアーネン Fírnen. 緑発 Ryūfa comes from the Green Dragon tile in Mahjong, one of the three Dragon tiles. The literal reading would be Green Departure but in Mahjong it occasionally means "to strike it rich".

Relying on smell won't always help you find your way, and 緑発 Ryūfa listened to 竜座 Ryūza's lecture about using the position of the sun and the moon when scouting. 緑発 Ryūfa couldn't wait to test his skills.

緑発 Ryūfa began tussling with a littermate, and clamped down hard with his teeth on the littermate's tail. The littermate let out a cry, and 竜座 Ryūza trotted over and explained that while teeth can be used, they must be used gently and without any force.

緑発 Ryūfa waited patiently for the right moment while observing a mouse, and he caught it in one smooth movement. With his skills improving that quickly, トルカータス could already see 緑発 Ryūfa's future as a mighty hunter.

緑発 Ryūfa was always great at getting lost from his pupsitter's sights to the dismay of the adults. It came quite in handy today when ライラック ordered a round of hide and seek and he won easily.

緑発 Ryūfa listened carefully to 鷲座 Washiza's lecture about how biting and tussling aren't allowed during teamwork. That was a bit disappointing, but 緑発 Ryūfa was ready for the hard work
