Black eyes were closed tightly in her make-shift den that she had only discovered a few nights before. Winter was just about to arrive and Renate was thankful for having a dry place to rest for the time being. The night was still early and a mysterious scent in the wind was carried with a chill. The pair of eyes pried open and peered out into the night, curiously darting around for the source. "Who's there?" Her voice was calm and smooth as she called out, slowly beginning to emerge from her den. A rustle in the brush before her caught the attention of the female and her dark eyes were soon met with a pair of soft brown.
"I don't mean to disturb...I'm looking for one with herbalist experience." The stranger responded as he stepped better into view, his ginger and white fur showing in the moonlight. The female's head nodded slightly in response. "You've done well in your search, I have plenty of experience. My name is Renate, what's yours stranger?" She emerged completely from her den, giving her pelt a quick shake before focusing on the male once more. "Sascha...please come with me to see my Alpha, he's ill." The ginger male quickly spoke in a quiet tone before turning back into the brush, hoping the female would be willing to follow him. Renate pondered the request for a moment before deciding to follow after him, after all, this might be a chance for her to find her own place within a decent pack and she just couldn't afford to spend winter on her own.
The pair soon came upon a clearing where a few different wolves could be seen resting. Several sets of eyes were instantly glued to her onyx pelt as she followed Sascha to a dark den, inside a sickly scent instantly alerted her senses. A deep growl rumbled from within the den and a sharp pair of hazel eyes could be seen as the large figure began to creep out. The dark male had a slight snarl on his muzzle, his head lowered, and his tail low behind him. "You know herbs?" Isaak wasn't going to waste time with introductions, at least not while his stomach was hurting him this badly. The onyx female simply nodded in response to the larger male, not too threatened by his foul attitude. Her deep eyes darted over his posture quickly and she had already come up with an idea of what he might be suffering from. "Good. Find me something for my stomach, I haven't had a solid shit all day." The male snapped his order to her before quickly receding back into the darkness of his den. It didn't take long for Renate to find the herbs she needed and create a cure for the Alpha's sudden attack of diarrhea. Once Isaak was feeling himself again, he granted permission for her to remain within the pack to become Die Unbekannte's main Herbalist, which Renate gladly accepted.
