Swallow rarely speaks, and when she does, it's completely irrelevant to whatever conversation is going on around her. Most wolves believe she's just a kook, but the Preacher Freya knows better - Swallow communes with the Gods frequently enough that she's lost her mind from the things they've showed her.
After losing her first litter of pups, Swallow became even more reclusive and melancholy. Nettle, her mate, is the only wolf able to gently prod her out of a stupor of grief. Nettle became increasingly worried about Swallow, but slowly and steadily, with much help from Nettle, Swallow's mentality is improving.
