Heidi had been on her own for as long as she could remember, having to learn quickly how to hunt to feed herself, despite the challenges of doing it alone. She wasn't able to take down anything more than mere critters since she was still pretty young but her success rate wasn't too bad. However, her biggest challenge was overcoming her self-doubt. It seemed that before every hunt, a wave of negativity would plague her mind and bring her confidence down, which in turn, brought her success rate down as well.
The fall-coated she-wolf had been in the midst of a hunt when her ears picked up a sound that seemed unfamiliar to her. Voices? She questioned, her attention now set on finding the source of the snapping voice that had distracted her. The youth was careful not to make too much sound as she crept through the brush, staying low as she peeked through the shrubs to see two young male wolves. The slightly bigger, darker wolf had a bit of a snarl as he snapped at the ginger and white male. "Dammit! You lost it again?! What the hell are we supposed to eat now?!" His words seemed harsh but the victim seemed used to the treatment and simply wagged his tail in a submissive manner with a small smile. Heidi wasn't sure what to make of the scene and tilted her head at the two characters, she wondered just how two completely personalities seemed to tolerate one another so well. As she was lost in thought, the wind had changed direction and alerted the pair of wolves, the aggressive male now facing her direction with a heavy snarl.
"Come out." The order was embedded in an intimidating growl from the dark wolf and Heidi slowly crept out of her hiding spot, her head low as she glanced between the pair of wolves. "I uh..I didn't mean to eavesdrop but uh..I know how to hunt..sorta" Her words left her mouth before she could think them over and instant regret swarmed over her. Isaak was unphased by the reply from the female and turned to start walking away. "Tch. We don't need your help." He spoke with a glare before signaling to Sascha for them to leave. "Wait! I'm not saying you need it but..I'd hunt for you if I could join your pack?" Heidi pleaded with them as she took a step forward. It hadn't occurred to her just how lonesome it had been on her own and she yearned for companionship. This had been the first time the pair of males had been considered a pack and Isaak didn't hate the idea of other wolves bowing down under his rule. "Whatever just hurry up and catch something." This had been Heidi's acceptance into Isaak's pack and it wouldn't be long before she became a part of a well-rounded hunting party.
