----------------------------------------------------------------The Creation of Omen the Fortune Teller---------------------------------------------------------------------
No wolf knows how Omen was created, we only know of the day he was. On a fateful day mid summer the Rocky Mountain Pack was blessed. The sun was shining through the treetops when one of the packs pups noticed a trail of colors beginning to swirl around and around right outside of the Main Den. He got the attention of the adults and as the crowd of wolves grew so did the colorful display. :Cashel:, Pack Leader, gently pushed his way to the front of the crowd to see what was happening, and he was astonished at this swirling entity of color before him. His mate, :Imelda:, was the only one in the crowd who knew what was going on. She exclaimed "Oh my! It seems as though we are being blessed by Kartara Goddess of Creation." Just as :Imelda: spoke a figure of a wolf appears within the colorful swirl. Glowing yellow eyes followed a Honey marked pelt as this wolf stepped out, into the small space made by the encircled pack. Here stood a gorgeous wolf, who would soon be called Omen, among his new pack. And before anyone knew it the colors were gone.
One year later and still no wolf knows how or why Katara Goddess of Creation gave them Omen. The pack did, however, begin to notice that Omen seemed to have some sort of fortune telling abilities. He was beginning to be known for his exceptional ability to predict future events, be it good or bad. Despite his ominous name, Omen only brought good news and it didn't take long for the pack to trust in him and his new mysterious power.
A few years after Omen was created, in the dead of winter, the pack was close to starvation as the hunters had failed time and time again to bring home food. One day, amongst this harsh time, a group of hunters approached Omen seeking his advice on where they should send their hunters. Omen closed his eyes and focused, then announced, "The Prairie seems to be holding quite a bountiful of prey." The hunters rarely went to the Prairie but they knew by now to trust in Omen. Sure enough, the hunters caught enough prey to guide the Rocky Mountain Pack into spring.
Word of Omen's predictions spread quickly, and soon, wolves from all over the forest came to seek his advice. Omen continued to bring good news and hope to all who came to him, and his reputation as a wise and benevolent seer grew stronger every day.
Years passed, and Omen's predictions continued to come true. He became a symbol of hope and prosperity to his pack, and his name became synonymous with good fortune.
