Named after a past comet that was observed to have split in two, forming parts of a meteor shower years after.
Biela is one of the Pack's three pupsitters. Her prickly personality causes her to get into frequent squabbles with the other pack members, often to the point where a day where an argument doesn't occur is abnormal. Despite this, she is an exemplary pupsitter. She outwardly regards her job as a chore, not hesitating to criticise or exchange quips with the pups. However, her disdain can be easily observed to be fake. She, deep down, enjoys her role and loves her wards, and would protect the pups with her life. Not that she'd admit it aloud, of course, but, according to Astraea, her body language is very telling.
She is close friends with Hygeia, who she holds a fierce protectiveness. Ever since Biela found out about the breadth of Hygeia's trusting nature, which seems to border on being gullible, she's stuck by the herbalist to ensure no one takes advantage of her ... namely Catalina.
