He is the companion to Domina and the one who she knew as a pup as the one guarding her against danger as a pup despite being on himself. 

He's a romantic at heart personality.
Though he and Domina have hit many rocky patches in their relationship they remain dedicated to one another. From the beginning Boernread always had a deep affection for Domina, when they had their first two she-pups he was over the moon with joy at the time that they hadn't stopped to consider that they wouldn't be able to keep them in their pack and that they would have to leave to possibly never to be seen again. The day that they had departed, at the time he was in the middle of scouting a faraway territory and was not able to wish them well. This caused him to become engrossed in his duties and to be away from the pack more often than not, and for them to break their pair bond with one another and for Domina to bare a brood of a foreign wolf. Though this would've caused more strife between the two, this caused them to rely on one another and to have Boernread become a step-father as well as at times step in as leader alongside the Beta, Eira to address issues and decrees from Domina. In due time they had mended their relationship with one another and once again become parents to another litter of pups.
