Raksha is unable to allow Sphinx on a hunting patrol because of her dishonest nature. Instead she placed Sphinx in a scouting role where she seems to excel.
As Sphinx gave birth to her own pups, the she-wolf seemed to mellow out and be just a little bit more trustworthy. At least she was honest to her offspring.
