Commander Ver'kahn

When the Cryptids emerged into their world, Queen Morava, like many others, found herself in the midst of an all out war. Wolves on one side, and monsters on the other. There were few who were neutral, and even fewer who were on the wolves' side. Then...he appeared. Morava found Ver'kahn while out scouting, a wolf with no known lineage among any of their allies, with a glowing red undercoat like veins of lava even brighter than her own. When she welcomed him into the pack, Ver'kahn presented the Queen with gifts.
Gifts that would help her protect her pack, until these demons from below were to flee. Fangs that could pierce any hide, a thick mane to protect where she was most vulnerable, and a bright red coat to show she was as beautiful as she was dangerous. Needless to say, Morava was very pleased. Her mate however, King La-Lune, did not trust this new male. Not even when he became the breeding male, and even less so when Morava paired the two of them together to help lead the war efforts. Even though he was worried, La-Lune had nothing to fear from this wolf. He was little more than a most faithful servant to the Queen, and would be for the rest of his life.
No...what La-Lune should have feared was the fact that Ver'kahn was little more than a host...a vessel if you will, for something far worse...For within his gifts to the Queen, though they did not affect her herself, it was the beginning of Clemensly's fall into darkness...
