Centauri came across proxima when she was looking for a mate to start a pack with. At first their relationship was just about making a pack, but they found a deep friendship along the way.

But when their puppies kept dying, Centauri and Proxima decided that Cenaturi would not father anymore puppies. But he will be a father figure for the puppies and teach them his wisdom.
