Howdy, thank you for hosting Tanwen! There's just a few things I'd like you to keep in mind;
1 - Please do not keep for longer than 7 days, though I do not mind if she overstays a little.
2 - As above, feel free to breed her. Do as you please with the pups.
3 - Feel free to put her into roles!
4 - You're welcome to adjust her appearance and add decor, but don't feel obligated to. If you would like your decor returned, please make note of such. Otherwise they will be kept.
5 - Please use the template below to track her stay with you! Please don't change any other infomation in her bio beyond adding your section. Don't worry about adding lore if you're not up to it, but if you don't then I may add my own text for her time in your pack.
I don't have a set time for recalling her, but will do so at some point before she reaches 7 years old. I will recall her early if she is being neglected, is on an inactive account, or has overstayed for a significant length of time.

Lore:
Tanwen was born in late winter to pack leader Carw and valley guard Llinos. Both were accomplished scouts in their time, and they raised Tanwen on tall tales of grandiose adventures; of far away lands, strange beasts, and mysterious packs. Entranced and eager to follow in her parent's footsteps, she trained as a scout under Eryr's tutelage and easily passed her scouting trial with flying colours. Carw was exceptionally proud of her, gifting her both her new title as scout and his old smoke quartz necklace. Unfortunately he passed away shortly after. Overcome with grief, Tanwen threw herself into scouting as a distraction but quickly hit a wall only a few months into her tenure. She confided in the new pack leader Eos who encouraged her to take some time away from Pont-y-Rhedyn, to slow down and spend some time with other packs.
And so, with Eos' blessing and her father's necklace, she set off.

Lore: Heading deep into the Swamp one day, Tanwen surprised herself by almost falling into a deep, dark ravine. The cavern stretched further into the swamp, and Tanwen looked around the area until finding steep, jagged steps. She followed them down into the darkness, and almost slipped as a blue orb flew up to her. It pulsed with energy, almost seemingly leading her deeper into the cavern. She followed it into the now bright-blue cave, the roof alight with lunary crystals. Soon enough, she found a group of smaller caves housing wolves. Is this... a Clan? Intrigued, she walked towards the loud group of wolves. [Lunar Wisp Added!]

Lore: Tanwen was exhausted after passing over the mountains, and felt an annoyed pang in her chest when she realized she had come across a desert. This surely wasn't what Eos meant by "taking time off", it felt like she had been more on then ever lately. Nevertheless, she trudged forward, some strange combination of grief and frustration feuling her determination to find… something. She didn't know what. Just… something.
She eventually happened upon an older blonde male wolf, seemingly giving a lesson to a young apprentice with a thick white mane and patchy pelt. She eavesdropped on their conversation for a bit, realizing this was a scouting duo, before stepping up to introduce herself. Maybe these two could lead her to a nearby place to rest.
They obliged, of course, as most packs would to a weary traveler, and showed her the way home. The male introduced himself as Cricket, the head scout of the pack. The apprentice tagging along with him was Arema, the future heir to the pack leadership. Arema straightened her posture and politely nodded her head while introducing herself, as if she was a well-practiced alpha already. Tanwen could still still the childlike energy in her eyes though.
Cricket nudged Arema and told her to take the lead, and the two adults fell in stride behind her. Cricket looked at Tanwen with curious eyes. He asked her why she had such a sadness around her, which caught her off guard. Tanwen figured she had nothing to lose, and told the old wolf about Eryr, her late mentor. Cricket draped his tail on her back sympathetically for a moment before speaking,
"I'm so sorry. That's one of the most painful losses to endure." he paused for a second, looking wistfully at Arema "it's like watching the defeat of someone you once considered invincible. It's a lot to process."
Tanwen flicked her ear and raised an eyebrow. Was he trying to relate to her?
Cricket continued speaking, as if reading her mind.
"Mine's name was Racket. I wouldn't call him my mentor per say, more like the pack's mentor, but damn if he didn't know how to keep a young wolf's mind bright and happy" he laughed, and then looked meaningfully at Tanwen.
"I know we just met, but i'd hazard a guess that Eryr would be proud of you. Hell, who's to say is isn't proud right now?" He gave another breathy chuckle. Tanwen felt tears welling up in her eyes, this random old man just touched her heart, that's for sure. She wasn't sure how to thank him for his kind words,
Tanwen began to speak, before Arema whipped around and popped up right in Tanwen's face. "We're here!! I'll show you to the traveler's den, you're gonna love it and-" Cricket promptly grabbed her by the scruff and sat her down.
"Easy now skipper. Why don't you go tell your moms about the weird rattlesnake we saw, i'll take care of our guest. You can pester her another time" He said with a smile. Arema huffed, yipped a see-you-later to Tanwen, and ran off.
Cricket showed her to a nest and they shared a wag before he went off to do whatever he does. Tanwen felt emotionally and physically exhausted, she lay in bed just thinking about her life and her journey before falling asleep.
She stayed in Spur Hollow for a few days before moving on, Cricket's words still ringing in her ears. She felt that maybe, her destination was a bit more clear now.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Taking Cricket's words to heart, Tanwen returned to Pont-y-Rhedyn in mid autumn 35. Reaching the valley boundary she raced through the familiar forests down to the river, overjoyed to be home after many long years away.
The joy was short lived. Much had changed since she'd left. Eos and the old guard had all passed, leaving the pack in the paws of their pups and the tenth leader Llywelyn. Indeed, much of the pack were now strangers to her. She was welcomed home without much fanfare - though she'd never met him, Llywelyn had been told of her inevitable return, at the very least. The pack was far smaller than it once was. There were fewer hunters, fewer sitters, no guards. Even the younger peers that Tanwen had left behind were absent.
Teyrnon, one of the few familiar faces left, filled her in on the tragedy that had occured in her absence. Grief-stricken to learn of the loss of her friends, Tanwen wasn't sure what to do. She could't leave again. What if something else happened? Would there even be a pack for her to return to, then? But the thought of staying only brought pain. Could she have stopped it? She'd already failed the pack once, what could she even do for them now?
Perhaps sensing her turmoil, Llywelyn offered her a proposition - to take up work as his direct assistant and second-in-command. It caught her a little off guard, at first. As Llywelyn put it - She couldn't undo what had been lost, and there was no guarantee that she'd be able to stop it from happening again. But the pack needed a calm mind and a steady hand, and being a young, inexperienced wolf himself, it was difficult for him to carry on doing it alone. Tanwen's experience as an elder, as a scout, as a traveller, could be invaluable. Touched by his words and eager to now do right by her family, Tanwen accepted.
Tanwen proved to be a steady and reliable steward to the pack. Her calm and pratical mind was a valuable asset. For many she was the first they'd go to for help, whether it be practical or just verbal. She'd also spend a lot of time with visiting travellers, trading stories and giving them advice.
Tanwen didn't take a mate or partner, though she would den with Teyrnon when he was home. She whelped several litters, but none of her pups stayed in the pack past adolesence. She was well liked within the pack, and was a trusted advisor and confidant.
