During the lesson: Sheldon expertly rolled and flipped a littermate onto their back, pinning them against the ground. Maurice nodded in approval at his technique, and explained how tactical moves are the most effective.
During the lesson: In the lesson, Sheldon balanced on a pointy, narrow rock and tried not to let his paws slip off. Learning how to keep your balance on rough terrain can be difficult, but Honeybee assured Sheldon that it is necessary if he wants to be a successful scout.
During the lesson: Magnolia placed a toy between herself and Sheldon. She showed him where to position himself to catch the prey while Magnolia flushed the prey toward him.
During the lesson: Red taught the class about wind direction and scents that can reveal your position if the threat is downwind. Turns out Sheldon is the best at hiding if she just rolls in the dirt first!
During the lesson: Sheldon waited for the birds for so long that he fell asleep. Red chastised him, and told him that he needed to be more patient next time.
