Crater

Crater was given her name after a meteor shower - where the abandoned pup was discovered, curled up among the remains of a fallen star. Despite smoke and shattered rock around her, Crater was miraculously unharmed. Causing some wolves to wonder if she had fallen from the sky itself. Or perhaps she had a guardian angel, watching from beyond the stars.

Crater herself, however, is dismissive of any allegations of her supernatural origin. Claiming that she "just got lucky", and would much rather spend time looking for interesting stones or showing off her rock collection than discuss matters of destiny or otherworldly things.

However, it's not hard to see why wolves wonder - when Crater is so often seen gazing up at the night sky, as though she were homesick. The way the starlight falls like pollen across her back, and seems to linger for hours afterward. She will admit to occasionally having unusual dreams... occasionally finding herself in other worlds or strange places. But that happens to everyone, right?

Relationships:
She is particularly close to Deftmark, who sees her as his third daughter. While she may roll her eyes and sarcastically say "thanks dad", when he is being too overbearing, she appreciates how Deftmark treats her no differently than anyone else in the pack.
