Kulpa Ava'al-Elquul

Kulpa passed away on a stormy spring day in the Glacier in 10SE, leaving behind a grieving mate and an adolescent son. She will be remembered as one of Yliaster's finest wolves - an excellent hunter and a beloved mentor.

Born with a full 10 markings, what a legend.

Kulpa was one of the few survivors of the Great Calamity which befell Yliaster in Year 5, along with Queen Stella Signata, the Queen's Companion Seamróg, Herbalist Nessa, St. Alessia, Stud Wanax, and her own newborn Kyllikki. Kulpa is noble through marriage to Azumar, the Queen's deceased son, and is a distinguished hunter, having once belonged to one of the great hunting packs of Yliaster. In these times of distress, Kulpa mostly hunts alone, traversing the rocky cliffs of her mountainous home, with only her Dreamcatcher to guide the way through the wind and the snow.
In 7SE, the day before her son Kyllikki's coronation, Kulpa gifted him her dreamcatcher. He in turn presented his mother with his owl talon necklace, which Queen Stella Signata gave him when he was just a pup. Through these sacred items, mother and son would guide each other in this life and the next.

Bonded to Elouan in the winter of 8SE, same day as the royal wedding between her son, King Kyllikke and Queen Lyconia. Establishing the Elku'ul bloodline. This would be her second pairbond, after Azumar Ava'al.

Retired from the Kynsguard in the summer of 9SE. Became Yliaster's Voice same day, after the former Voice, St. Alessia, was found to have passed away in her sleep. Kulpa spent the rest of her days as a valuable mentor to the pack, and kept in touch with the Kynsguard.

Near the end of her life, though she did not expect it, Kulpa became pregnant and gave birth to a son, Quellon. She guided him, taught him and raised him to the best of her ability. Her mate and father of her son, Elouan, was younger than her and Kulpa felt at peace, knowing Quellon would have an easier puppyhood than Kyllikke ever had.
