秋夜 Akiyo was named for her dark blue and auburn pelt, like the a clear night sky above autumn trees and is a combination of her parents names, 秋雲 Akigumo, Autumn Cloud, and 夜桜 Yozakura, Night Cherry.

秋夜 Akiyo was always a Quiet but Helpful pup, so it was no wonder that after spending so much time with her den mate 狼座 Ōkamiza she began to come out of her shell, little by little. She was still as ever helpful as always but now she trot around the camp with a wide smile on her face, instead of hiding behind 夜桜 Yozakura's hind leg all the time.
