Biography
"I knew I smelt something." Came a voice behind the wolf. Jumping in surprise she pivoted sharply on her paws, gazing at the stranger with here crystal blue eyes. The stranger was strangely colored, that much was easy to see, sporting a mostly blue pelt with a deep back face, a pair of murky green eyes peeking out of the darkness.
"Um.. hi?" She prompted nervously. This male had been the first she met once she was pushed to leave her birth pack. It had been so long now; she couldn't recall the name of her former pack or even the faces of her parents, a thought she cringed at. "Can I help you? If I'm trespassing, I can leave."
The male threw his head back in a laugh, making her tail flicker with a faint wag. "No, no, you're fine. The area around here is more like a middle ground. While my pack lives under most of this territory, we work hard to keep this a safe place for all wolves." He added with an affectionate smile. "I just wanted to see the newcomer and might I add, you're quite handsome."
Her head dipped in a wince, shyly tucking her tail between her legs at the word. As soon as she reacted, he visibly bit his tongue and lowered himself to the ground apologetically. "I did it, didn't I?" Caught off guard by the action, she shifted backwards, staring down at the flattened male. "You're not actually a male, are you..?" His voice oozed in shame.
There was a long pause, both unsure of how to respond and surprised by his actions. Her answer finally came with a soft nod, tucking her head back into her form defensively. "I'm such an idiot!" The strange male wailed, earning an airy laugh from her. "I swear I must be blind some days. I'm sorry, please forgive me." He finished as he rose back to his paws with a respectful bow, tail relaxed.
"It's fine, really. It's not like you could have known anyway." She brushed his words off, trying to keep them from settling into her pelt. Her words however had the male staring at her, eyes locked deep in hers as if thinking. "Are you okay-" She started only to be cut off by the stranger. "Come with me! He barked excitably, not even waiting to see if she was following.
Her instincts reacted faster then she could have, darting after the male, slightly panicked to lose the first wolf she had met in days.
