Akani is the first leader and founder of the Radical Face pack.
Orphaned as a pup, he was found and adopted by a lonely, stoic, and grumpy old gray wolf. The wolf taught him everything there was to know and how to survive in the world, especially if you are alone. And Akani showed adaptability and great potential right away.
When Akani was near the age of one year, however, he was attacked by a large grizzly bear. The old wolf ran to his aid, but unfortunately was killed by it. Akani escaped, but was soon able to avenge his mentor by killing the bear. Killing a bear alone is something that a normal wolf would never be able to do. Therefore, Akani was feared by bear and wolf clans and earned the designation of the "wolf who killed a bear."
After this he met Ikela, a she-wolf his age who convinced him of the advantages of creating a pack. The two prospered and had a daughter: Hera.
But Akani was a cold and aloof father, and Hera unfortunately died in an attempt to impress her father. After this tragic event, Ikela no longer wanted to be Akani's mate, but remained in the pack as a hunter.
Hera's death, however, created trauma in Akani, who vowed to be better after that. After meeting Lilith and having two children by her, he decided to give them everything Hera never had.
Akani was a leader respected by everyone; he foiled the drama of the *Fatui through his strength and intelligence. He created great alliances that put his pack in a high position and ruled until old age.
*The quartz pendant is a symbol inherited by Akani's children, in memory of what his deeds were during the Fatui attack.
