-曙海 Akemi talked about the differences between hunting alone and hunting in a pack. 菌輪 Kinrin listened carefully, trying to imagine the best role for herself in a hunting squad, "I want to be a finisher!" she yowled confidently to 曙海 Akemi as they pad through the forest. 曙海 Akemi gave her a pitying look, "Finishers are always seen as the strongest and therefore the best of their team. But where would they be without their Stalkers to find the prey and Chasers to tire it out? Plus I heard 楓月 Kadzuki already assigned you a hunting team with 狼座 Ōkamiza who's already training to be a Finisher."
菌輪 Kinrin, crestfallen looked down at her paws, "I know…I'll probably be a Chaser like my brother. But I'm so much stronger then both of my littermates! Why do I have to be put in a hunting team with 狼座 Ōkamiza anyways" getting louder as she talked. 曙海 Akemi shaking her head said, "And this is why we went over hunting teams again today. When will you learn…even with 5 wolves in a team, someone can get hurt or even killed. That's why we chase the prey so long, to tire it out and give the Finisher the best opportunity to kill it and not get killed themselves. And the more Chasers the more likely all the wolves will come home not only with food but their lives."
曙海 Akemi finished and looked at 菌輪 Kinrin to see if she had been listening, but she was lost it thought about the terrible stories she'd herd about wolves losing their life to Elk and Moose. The antlers could impale a wolf clean though their throat, their sharp hooves capable of crushing bone, and one swift kick to the head was certain death. 菌輪 Kinrin shuddered, "Maybe it would be better to just be a Chaser…"
