Reserved and - to those unfamiliar with him - a little cold, Báwsa is the stern face of Black Eden. He is direct and scarily sharp, with an uncanny ability to pick out when something is amiss (whether good or bad). Many say it feels like he looks through them when he looks at them. Seeing him smile is a fairly uncommon occurrence to those outside of his pack. To outsiders, he is most commonly seen with an unimpressed look.
However, to his pack, his presence is amongst the most comforting. In his directness, they find guidance. In his keen eye, they find healing and self reflection. He keeps his pack grounded to their ancestors, themselves, and to the world around them. With a sense of humor drier than cedar bark and a hidden mischievous streak, he’s often the cause for laughter within the pack. Not to mention, he has quite the soft spot for puppies and loves to teach them how to be more in tune with themselves and find who they are. In particular, he shares quite a close, fatherly bond with Nayáwsa. The two of them joined Black Eden within days of one another, and the young pup latched onto him. As time went on and they settled in, it had become accepted that she was his daughter, even if not by blood, which he proudly accepts. Following the arrival of Skunk and Dove, the two - after spending time with him following treatment of poor care - also took to him like a house on fire. He adopted the pair and loves them dearly.
Taysha’s energy drew many to her, but none as strongly as it did B’wasa. The two are - by every definition - twin flames. When B’awsa first joined the pack, it started as a healthy respect. They immediately recognized each other’s strength and found a camaraderie in it. She took to chatting with him between hunts and his duties as an herbalist. They’d joke around and tease, but nothing became deeper until Tasha came back from a hunt with a gaping wound on her side. An elk had managed to flay her open, and the resulting two week lon stay in his den led to something more. They were noted spending more and more time together, finding more reasons to see one another. When they finally announced their bond (and Taysha’s pregnancy), no one was the least bit surprised. The pair are truly meant for one another and are a clear symbol of the strength and care within the Black Eden pack.
