Third born of five pups from three personality groups. Only one male pup. Mother's eye color was dominant. Three of five pups were tier II bases.

Stride was a champion. He performed both chasing and finishing roles admirably, with a success rate of around 70% - above average. As such, Stride caught the eyes of Sepna and Selna, along with nods of respect from the majority of Snow Hearts. The only things that challenged Stride were beavers, and so he stayed far from creeks, preferring the ocean shoreline instead.
