Excited for his first adventure, he came across the Riva Glade pack, resting in the grass. They welcomed him with wagging tails and introduced him to their leader Adalard. He helped out wherever he could, guarding the pups when the adults went hunting. He heard tales of another traveller and listened carefully for tips and advice. He also listened to gossip about other packs wolves vanishing and these mysterious yellow lights appearing.

Lore: Rainer padded through the grassy hills and meadows of the grasslands, stumbling upon a group of pupsitters resting in the shade of a small cluster of cedar trees. The group happily invited him over and he realized it was mostly she wolves. Mothers perhaps? One of the she wolves introduced herself as Shiruku, and gave him many compliments on his appearance which made him embarrassed. After some chatting, the group invited him to stay awhile at their pack, the Galactic Ones. He ultimately agreed, and took on the role as a pupsitter. There, he enjoyed listening to the stories of the pupsitters, even befriending another traveler named Pike Swim.

Lore: While at the Court, Rainer participated to a riddle competition among the members of the pack, to test his logic skills. Rainer's adversary was Anri, a very expert pupsitter. Rainer's smartness was above the average and, had fate been kinder to him, he might have advanced his round if paired up with a younger wolf. But Anri was an expert elder, and a teacher among the pupsitters, so Rainer ended up losing his round.

Lore: It was winter when Rainer came to visit the pack, but they welcomed him with warmth luckily- otherwise he wouldn't be here tell this now, because a lone wolf couldn't survive in the north in the coldest times. He took the role of scout and went to the tundra with Pomarina. Two butterfilies were flying over the icy landcsape, how odd, in this season? Rainer decided to take them with him anyways.

Rainer wandered into Nacent Flames while the pack was still settling in the woodlands. Nephele did not recognize the scent on this traveler right away but Devil Trigger recognized the scent of an ally pack on his fur and so he was allowed in and invited to partake in the feast, as the hunts had been bountiful that autumn. He decided to find a place amongst the Pupsitters cave and aided in the training and watching over the large pack's pups. He often regaled them with tales of his travels. He was planning to set out again as winter hit but a massive storm blew in and forced his stay to be extended for a long period. Finally with the spring's arrival, it was safe to travel again. He was escorted to the edge of pack territory and Nephele laid a paw on his head and whispered a traveler's prayer over him. That moment his fire illuminated with otherworldly light and it extended to his eyes, his vision clear of any illusions or trickery. He received the gift of truth sight from the druid wolf herself. They bumped noses in a friendly manner and he was on his way, his vision clearer than it ever had been.

When Rainier traveled to the mountains to stay with Data Pack, he was welcomed warmly. He took to the snowy climes quickly, and found that treading through snow came as easily as breathing. The clear blue sky during the day gave way to a deep star speckled darkness at night. He made many friends amongst the wolves there, and they listened with rapt attention at the stories of his journey. When it was finally time to leave, they gifted him a necklace strung with owl talons as a keepsake.
