Flamefur was already kind of old when she entered the pack. However, the wolf still loved pack life and was a finisher for her hunting team. She hunted until she turned six and a half years old, when Aspenstar decided that it would be prudent to retire her to a mentor. Flamefur didn't love giving up hunting, but she knew in her heart that Splatterfur, a young male, would be a much better finisher than she was. Flamefur wasn't super big on teaching puppies, only teaching a few lessons, but she helped the rest of the pack in more ways than one. She still went on the occasional hunt, and made sure to help the other mentors with their restless puppies. Her best friend Whitefang, an albino, loved teaching lessons with her. Side by side, the two taught many puppies. As Flamefur got even older, realizing that her time was coming to an end, she decided to do as much as she could to help her pack before the unspeakable happened and she joined Aspenstar's family among the glittering, shining stars.
