Marigold is an aggressive wolf that Lola had to practically dominate in order to get him into her pack. However, once he came in, he proved to be one of the better males of the back even if he is quite standoffish. For this reason, Lola decided to name him Marigold for the color of his fur and not for his personality. She also decided that this wolf will be a scout and will be an option as a breeding male.
Marigold is quite reserved about his past but he does sport a few scars on his pelt that shows that he is no stranger to fighting and conflict. This lead Lola to believe that his former pack was built on dominance instead of fairness and a hierarchy where each wolf is assigned their role from birth.
Lola also had to use dominance in order to get him to join Lightning Strike Pack and is currently trying to persuade him that violence isn't always the answer. Though with Alieu around with a similar past, it is quite the task to do. With that in mind, Lola had elected to name Marigold a scout, knowing that his fighting skills as well as observational skills will be quite the asset in exploring new territory and gaining new things.
