Biography
During the lesson: Relying on smell won't always help you find your way, and Feldspar listened to Caroline's lecture about using the position of the sun and the moon when scouting. Feldspar couldn't wait to test her skills.
During the lesson: Feldspar learned a camouflage technique today - rolling in mud, dirt and herbivore poop distracted Peeta enough to steal the toy from under his paws! Peeta congratulated her on her cleverness.
During the lesson: Today the lesson included effective snarling, biting at the air with extra loose saliva, and pretend-biting each other's faces while making as many awkward gurgling noises as possible. Apparently this really makes other animals tremble in fear!
During the lesson: Moss Pelt taught the class about wind direction and scents that can reveal your position if the threat is downwind. Turns out Feldspar is the best at hiding if she just rolls in the dirt first!
During the lesson: Feldspar pounced on the birds after she successfully lured them to come closer. Catching them was more important than chasing when it came to birds, and it was the best reward for such a long wait.
During the lesson: Moss Pelt had a feather attached to the end of his tail, and raced through a clearing with Feldspar close behind. She couldn't quite catch him yet, but she got close enough to feel the feather tickle her nose before Moss Pelt pulled farther ahead.
