Ox enjoyed Brass's company, they were on the same hunting team and had similar views and personalities. If they weren't hunting together, they would chat together in camp.


History

Ox was born to Charcoal and Swan alongside his littermate Duck. Ox has always been a confident wolf, eager to hunt and fight. He began practicing hunting moves with his fellow denmates and enjoyed every minute of it. He knew he would be a hunter one day, whether he would be a chaser, tracker, or finisher, he had yet to decide.

Once an adolescent, Ox eagerly began his training as a hunter, with his sister training as a pupsitter. Ox diligently listened to all the things the hunters had to teach him. He tried out all the different roles and, in the end, decided he would be best suited as a chaser.

By the time Ox reached adulthood, he had refined his skills and was a talented and reliable chaser. Ox loved the time he got to spend with his team out hunting and felt such pride whenever they made a particularly impressive catch.

Ox was happy to see the wolves around him forming pairs and having pups. He would like a family of his own one day, but he had yet to find the right wolf. It seemed all the available wolves were taken… He just hoped one day a kind and amazing wolf would join the pack and perhaps would be the right wolf for him.

Ox was devastated when his father passed, he had been such a kindhearted wolf and he wasn't sure what to do without his father's guidance. It wasn't long after that his mother passed, his mother had been a hunter and he would miss hunting alongside her. The world felt a bit smaller without his parents in it.

On the 7th year and 6th month of his life, Ox made his way to the mountains summit. Caribou, Duck, Alder, Brass and Topaz keeping him company through most of the journey. Once at the top, looking out at the endless sky, Ox and Duck were greeted by their parents, Charcoal and Swan, who gently guided them to the afterlife.
