She wraps her tail neatly around her hind legs. "So I created my own expectation of what a pack leader should be. Instead of a perfect leader, I was an efficient leader, if a bit distant. One day, the youth that will inherit this pack need to understand that."

She looks fondly over at Lune, her young pup who reminds her so much of her former lover. "And I'm sure they will."
