Wind Star (Wind Runner) grew up in Fairy Tale Pack, born to the first alpha, Ocean Star, and the first beta, Blizzard Frost. She was the only surviving pup of the pairs first, and only, litter. Her littermates, Fire Pup, Dust Pup, River Pup, and Forest Pup, were all sadly killed by a deadly illness that plagued the pack. It was around this time, in their time of deep sorrow, that Ocean Star accepted a wolf and her two pups into the pack. The three soon became a large part of the pack, with Mouse Tail becoming a valued elder and mentor, and her two pups, Whisper Pool and Ripple Claw, each becoming elite hunters. As they grew older, Wind Runner and Ripple Claw grew closer and eventually became mates, and as Wind Star took over as alpha, the two brought their first litter into the world. The mates' first litter, consisting of four pups, brought great joy to the pack. While only one of the pups, Owl Flight, remained with the pack, the other three pups decided to travel the world. As Owl Flight grew older, he decided to forfeit his right as the pack's next alpha, deciding to become a hunter instead. In order to keep the alpha lineage in the family, Wind Star and Ripple Claw decided to produce a second litter. But this wasn't until the mates were nearly seven years in age, well after the birth of their first litter. This litter produced a new alpha for the pack, Breeze Star, a gorgeous she-wolf, Breeze Whisper.
