As she comes to the end of her life, Akashi retires her traditional heather flower crown. Instead, she wears a crown of deep, crimson roses, representing her coming fall. Much like her late mother, Azazel, she is quiet; but Akashi is not at all timid. She watches the world through burning, yet stoic eyes -- and as the Earth turns, she observes its movement; feeling the vibration of the ground as she moves; drinking in every quiet sound like a natural elixir. Under a starry sky, she rolls over onto her back and gazes. The deepening night, aging just like her, carefully drags each twinkling object within it across the sky. Her eyes fall on the moon, and that is when she feels it: a relief to the wanderlust, a stability. She is home.
