Biography
Only son of Winterchill.
Caldwell was very protective of his mother Winterchill while she was still alive. With his sister having left to join another pack, he felt its his place to stay at their mother's side. His nature is calm, kind and collected and he possesses an intellect of a wolf many moons older than he is. His evenings were often spent curled near his mother, listening to her telling stories to the other pups before sleeping.
After her passing, he mourned the loss, feeling it more keenly than he had felt any pain in his life. Pleading to the woodland spirits to return her to him.. he was given a small vial of what appeared to be a glowing blue liquid with a small jellyfish inside. He was told to have his mother consume this and she would be as eternal. But such magic came at a price.. and the price was that he could not take the life of a woodland creature ever again.
Agreeing to this, he took the vial and brought it back to his dying mother and she was barely able to consume it, her mind gone and her body all but following. What happened was beyond his imagining.. his mother suddenly was healthy again and she gave off an aura similar to the guardian and founder of the pack, Edmont. To honor his pact to the woodland spirits, Caldwell never hunted again, instead took up the role of preserving life as a pupsitter, just as his mother had done before him. During this, he bonded with another pupsitter, Karinka and the two are now lifemates.
