Kaskae is the pride and joy of his mother, Patuktuq's eye. She often dotes on him, much to his embarrassment. He can be a bit clumsy and clueless at times, and is far more of a follower than a leader. He is quite a large wolf, and his dark pelt can portray an imposing figure but he's quite the softy behind his appearance.
His striking pelt often garners attention from suitors, although Kaskae is generally completely oblivious to their affections. It was only after he met Sikuaq and she would blatantly point it out did he start to pick up on it more. The two serve has finishers within the pack and would often spend their free time together training and discussing their hunts. The two became close and eventually after Sikuaq had to spell it out for him he recognized his feelings for her and the two became mates.
