Aquilo was friends with Obsidian and Narcisse before the pack was even created. She met the two as she was running away from her old pack when she was four years old. Her best friend (and possible love interest) was killed by the pack's alpha, who went insane after the murder of the queen. Haunted by her past, she vowed never to be bonded with a wolf again.
After the birth of Narcisse's two pups, the Stag Creek pack was created, with Aquilo as the beta and scout—a position she held until reaching six years and seven months of age. After teaching her everything she knew, Aquilo's apprentice, Aizon, was the next in line to become the scout.
A few days after Narcisse's first pups were weaned, a rival pack brutally murdered them during the night. At the time, the Stag Creek pack only consisted of a few wolves, which wouldn't be able to do any damage against the large pack who murdered the pups. Mortified by this event, Aquilo worked as hard as she could, often scouting north for as long as she could before returning to the pack, tired and out of breath. After scouting everywhere from the mountains to the glaciers, Obsidian made the choice to move the pack to the tundra in order to escape the evil pack, a choice which many of the wolves didn't agree with, but knew it was needed.
Aquilo still didn't get a break after that. Bombarded by strong storms, the journey there was a long and harsh one and the pack lost many pups on the way. They finally reached their destination just as winter was finishing up. Still, it was much tougher in the tundra as opposed to the mountains. The pack was running low on food, and many wolves died to either starvation or frostbite. Once summer came, the pack finally got their much needed rest. She was given the title "The Loyal" by the first alpha, Obsidian, for sticking with the pack ever since it was founded.

After helping Caedis scout all of the biomes south of them, Aquilo would finally retire into mentorship.
Aquilo taught her last lesson at the age of 7 years 3½ months and retired from being a mentor right after.
