Biography
A lost shepherd dog... meets a wolf... and starts a pack...
Separated from her humans during a camping trip, Kira traveled far and wide before entering the lands of Wolvden. There, she came across a wolf named Tala, who told her that it was her destiny to find others and start a pack. Alongside Ashlar, Forest, Luna, Sanja, and Amie, Kira founded the Radiant Overwatch pack. But she still lived in painful discontent, longing for her humans and old life.
A few years after being separated from her owners, Kira found a curious house dog exploring the fringes of her territory. When questioned, the dog revealed that they were in fact not lost, but simply exploring a ways away from home while their humans were away, and knew how to get back to the city. Furthermore, the domestic dog offered to show Kira the way back, whenever she was ready to return to a house life.
When Kira returned to her pack, she announced her daughter, River, as the heir to the pack, though still keeping her plans to return to her owners and the city hidden. She gave the generous house dog refuge in her pack, much to the disdain of her packmates.
Having finally fully prepared River for leadership, Kira said her farewells to the Radiant Overwatch pack, and departed with the house dog. The journey was far, but after weeks of traveling, Kira returned to the city. Though at first apprehensive, her owners recognized her and accepted her back into the family. It seemed as if the house dog was also part of her domestic, mixed pack, having being adopted by her owners during her absence. Kira became a popular pet in the neighborhood, often telling the other dogs of her adventures with the wolves of Wolvden.
Though the happiness did not last, as merely a year Kira died from her wounds after defending her family from a wild wolf. She died happily, surrounded by her owners and friends, having almost forgotten about the Radiant Overwatch pack. Kira's spirit stayed in the city and suburbs, like that of most household pets, instead of ascending to the skies like wolves.
