Clovenshift

Ashenfall was rescouting the forest when he comes across a strange clearing that he could distinctly remembered not being there before. In it were circles and circles of fae rings and in the middle of the clearing was a circle of four leaf clovers. Ashenfall walked over to the patch of clovers to see the head of a puppy pop out, looking at him with wide, confused eyes. Ashenfall asks the puppy where his pack was and the puppy could only shrug, looking just as clueless as Ashen. The puppy says that he has no pack nor a home. Knowing that he would never forgive himself if he left the puppy by itself, Ashenfall decides to take the strange puppy to his pack.

The puppy was strange, however, his fur being a forest shade of green, as if the trees and vines itself came together to create the puppy. His eyes were even stranger, however, as if they were made to lure and decieve, though Ashenfall could feel no trickery in the puppy's heart. Ashenfall considered the thought that this puppy could be a product of the strange events happened in this Coigreach, that the puppy could be -- what had Honeymoon called them again? Faelcu? However, as Ashenfall saw the puppy's wide, innocent eyes blinking at him, he knew that Faelcu or not, this puppy would not suffer with Ashenfall and his pack at his side to protect it.

Ashenfall arrived at the pack with the new puppy and spotted Honeymoon, who also carried a strange new puppy into the pack, being just as mysterious and hypnotizing as the other. Ashenfall talked to Honeymoon, who decided that both puppies would stay in the pack, for all should be given a chance.

Clovenpup became fast friends with Wispenpup and looked up to Ashenfall and Honeymoon. Unfortunately, Clovenpup didn't get to enjoy Ashenfall's company for long, as he passed soon after Clovenpaw became an apprentice. Clovenpaw didn't let Ashenfall's death sadden him for very long, knowing that Ashenfall lives on in the stars and in Clovenpaw's nature.
