Biography
Aurae -- Breeze [Greek]
Died late spring in year 27
Aurae came from another pack and was quite pampered due to her angelic-like beauty. Because of this she's never been so willing to hunt for her current pack or get her paws dirty for them, preferring to be provided a meal and showered with compliments than work for them on her own.

When Aurae had first appeared to the Kohana Pack, many mistook her for some sort of angel who had descended from the heavens. Perhaps she came bearing good news, or a warning. Nobody knew, but she was quickly welcomed eagerly.
She wasn't an angel, simply a dispersal from a pack in woodlands far away. Upon describing her homeland, Kuparr realized it sounded much like the lost forest the Kohana Pack had once lived in, and pleaded to know more, desperate to bring the pack back to it's homeland. Aurae admittedly didn't know how to get back to the forest, but as Kuparr explained, she recognized Ren's name.
"Ren? Oh yeah, he was related to our alphas generations ago." She stated somewhat disinterestedly. Kuparr's green eyes shone curiously, and Aurae continued. "I guess that makes me... one of his... like... really distant nieces? I think."
Aurae was pampered; using her angelic-like beauty and charm to get whatever she wanted, especially from the males of the pack. Being related to Ren was a big deal, and pup sitters often came to her hoping for advice, which they quickly found out was practically worthless. Still, the charming maiden was rather well-liked by most of the pack, and she even caught the eyes of some of the pack's best male hunters.
Aurae never assisted in hunts, or even herbalist duties. She hated the idea of getting her paws-- or worse, her beautiful white coat-- filthy. She spent hours ensuring no sand clung to her coat, and taking naps under the desert sun.
Plenty of males flirted with her, but the one she secretly found herself pining for was Bloodtrail Beserker's finisher; a small, fluffy, well-built dog named Xuĕ. He was sweet, bringing her small catches of prey or helping clean her fur if she asked. Xuĕ seemed oblivious of her desire for him, which frustrated Aurae to no end.
Eventually, much to Aurae's dismay, a drought forced the pack to move eastwards... and of all the places to settle? Kuparr chose a swamp because there's no shortage of water. Aurae almost never ventured off from the densite, preferring to bask on a rock jutting from the marshy soil. The only thing she did like about the swamp was that it had plenty of flowers always in bloom.
One day after a particularly intense hunt, Xuĕ returned bloodied and muddied. Aurae wasn't sure whether it was his own or not, but a wave of worry surged over her and she found herself sprinting towards him. Murky water stained her white fur and mud covered her paws, but she didn't notice.
"Aurae!" Xuĕ had yipped. "I've never seen you run so fast... and your fur?" She halted. Only now realizing what had happened. As much as her stomach sunk, she shook her head. She'd deal with that later.
"Don't worry about it." Aurae replied softly, nuzzling the small dog. "Are you okay?"
"I got into a scuffle with a big alligator. He didn't pull me in, but he did do a number on my shoulder." Xuĕ replied, showing her a large gash. "The hunting party sent me back early; told me they'd find an opposum to snatch up or something."
Aurae's eyes widened at the gash, and she huffed. "Why don't we get you to the herbalist? Your wounds need tending, and I'm sure Jacana could do so with his eyes closed."
Xuĕ smiled broadly at her. "Thanks Aurae, I appreciate you getting all muddied for me. I know you don't exactly like it."
"I would do anything for you, Xuĕ-- I love you!" She blurted. The dog's eyes widened and for a moment she thought she said the wrong thing, and she dropped her blue gaze to her own muddied paws. But Xuĕ leaned in, nuzzling her.
Since then, the two had become mates. She was a bit sad to have lost all fawning admirers, but Aurae decided she'd much rather have just Xuĕ than an entourage of sycophants. The pack celebrated their pairing more than usual due to the fact it meant more canine blood would be coursing through; although Aurae was lazy and Xuĕ was always busy hunting, so having pups wasn't on the agenda until later in life.
When she did fall pregnant, two wolf dogs were born on a chilly autumn night. Aurae could hear much of the pack whispering outside, but she didn't care. Nestling close to her were precious pups... her precious pups.
Athanasios was the bolder of the two.
