Biography
During the lesson: Almond Joy learned that specific plant parts do different things, and how only taking certain bits that the pack needs for remedies won't damage the entire plant. This will conserve resources and allow the plant to be used in the future.
During the lesson: A cluster of rodent burrows was a great practice zone for today's class. Almond Joy was able to stalk a mouse or two, but instead of killing it, Dew instructed her to let it go after presenting it.
During the lesson: Almond Joy was reminded to work on her attention span. While her physical condition was perfect, Almond Joy needed to fight the urge to use every opportunity to play.
During the lesson: Crosspelt had a feather attached to the end of his tail, and raced through a clearing with Almond Joy close behind. She couldn't quite catch him yet, but she got close enough to feel the feather tickle her nose before Crosspelt pulled farther ahead.
During the lesson: Not only was the nesting material important, but the right spot and the right time matter, too. Almond Joy learned how to choose wisely and save a lot of time.
During the lesson: Moss Pelt explained how important it is not only to hide out of sight, but also out of scent range. Concealing scent is much more difficult than finding a good hiding spot, but it could be the difference between life and death.
