First Alpha of the Saddle Creek Wolves
"Half wolf, half German shepherd/Akita mix, Shasta is a mutt whom escaped from a wildlife conservation pen in southern Washington after the apocalypse hit, and struck out alone to find a place to call his own. After travelling north for nearly a month, he settled on a glade near the Saddle Creek river, hence the pack's name. Loyal to a fault and devoted to his pack, Shasta would lead the Saddle Creek wolves through hell and back, and do it without fault."

First Pack Bio
"In the aftermath of a disaster that wiped out most of the human population, a pack of wolves has begun to slowly claim the area surrounding the Saddle Creek river in Washington State, close to the Canadian border.
Led by Shasta, a half-wolf, half-dog survivor of this international cataclysm, the Saddle Creek wolves are known for their hardiness against the cold and stout loyalty to each other. And due to their alpha's previously domestic lineage, they are welcoming of any canines looking for a home, wolf or otherwise.
Some wolves in this pack carry strange colorings: brightly colored claws that glow in the dark, strange, luminescent facial markings, and coats oddly reminiscent of previous breeds of domestic dogs. It leads one to wonder if the radiation and chemical biohazards unleashed on the world have anything to do with the strange alterations of the organisms that survived."
