Bear was one of the first hunters of the pack, and a hard worker. Even when her fellow hunters began retiring, letting the younger and stronger wolves take on their roles, she kept going. She taught this same perseverance and strength to her daughter, Fathom. Eventually, she, like her fellow elders, did retire into being a pupsitter, serving the pack into her old age.
