Milkshake

It was a frosty winter night in the Thunderstorm pack, a new moon hung overhead the small cave as a shewolf was laying on her side. For many moons the pack was getting ready for an heir as the previous litters of pups did not meet the standards of the pack elders. They took finding an heir very seriously as such a pup could make or break their pack. The herbalist was letting the shewolf go through it on her own, only stepping in when she got hungry or was particularly tired. After quite some hours and wolves pacing outside of the den, there was a pain filled howl before whimpers of pups were heard.

Almost immediately the pack leader Zira Akane stepped through and observed the scene before, there laid a few pups but only one of them truly stuck out. There was a colorful pup with white patches of fur laid practically underneath her mother, Zira knew that would be her heir. Zira looked over the pup thoroughly listening to the whispers of the previous alphas before announcing, "This pup shall be named Milkshake." Once the name was spoken, Milkshake stirred before settling down.

As Milkshake grew, Zira would take her to her own den and teach her things about becoming a future leader. Milkshake always listened carefully and was quite a natural at learning quickly. She would observed the pack and train with others while still keeping some of her pupish nature that followed her into her adolescence. She was still hanging around Zira and was almost always spotted with her, she took her future duited seriously as the wellbeing and pure survival of her pack would be within her paws after the leader eventually pass away. Milkshake still goes out with other adolescents while maintaining her viewpoint in the world and observing the wolves around her.
