Then the door was open and the wind appeared
The candles blew and then disappeared
The curtains flew and then he appeared
Saying don't be afraid
A shadow that emerges from the misty trails, pups are told from a young age that the cawing of crows signal her arrival. Far from a bad omen, she simply signals the coming of peaceful passing - perhaps frightening to the youth of growing hope, but a relief for the tired paws of the elders. Her lamp brings times of respite for those who have served the pack for long, as it signals the way to the great beyond.
Yet fear may strike the chords of every heart when she comes out of her den deprived of the guiding light, that was the only warning when she decidad to stay. No one knows what calamity that would bring, but it's yet an event unseen.
"Her kind embrace will ease your final breaths, do not fear the reaper."
