Biography
original lore written by Charcoal🌾🐾!
Born on June 2nd, year 3.
Blaze's bright orange fur was a clear contrast to her mother's pure white pelt. As Blaze nestled closer to her mother, Soot was outside the den. He walked in with a hopeful look, only for that expression to drop into disappointment and concern. When Ibis tried to uplift Soot's spirits, he snapped at her. Growling with his teeth bared as he grumbled how the Peak Watchers will punish them for Ibis' mistake...
June 7th, year 3.
"I hate it when mom keeps on babying me like this. I can't even go to make dirt without her breathing down my neck! ... maybe dad had a reason to leave..."
June 19th, year 3.
"It's not fair, it's not fair, it's not FAIR!!! Why is everyone else actually learning something while Soot just skips over me? I didn't do anything wrong! I've been following the rules, spend time with almost all the wolves in the pack, watch the pups when the pupsitters couldn't and even clean the pups after they rolled in mud! So why am I still not accepted?!?! ...Is it because I wasn't born as a gift like my mother and father? I know I'm a mistake, but it's not like I can control what I turn out to look like... I wish I wasn't born in this Peak Watcher forsaken place!!!! "
June 23rd, year 3.
"All this talk of the sickness really gets me on my toes. I don't wanna die like Flare spits out I will... She always bullies me just because I'm not like mom... or dad... GAH! I just hate it here sometimes..."
July 1st, year 4.
"Oh dear Peak Watchers, it seems this pack is going downhill fast... first pups, then the death of our leader... what next? The whole pack!? I can't stay here... not when all this is happening. I need to figure out a way to leave, and fast..."
July 6th, year 4.
"I... this is really the deal breaker Peak Watchers... my pups are dead just because of your choice! Well, it's my choice how I want to raise my only pup, and I know it isn't under your guidance! So, help me whoever is up in the sky, so long as it isn't you Peak Watchers..."

June 11th, year 5. Finding Kenopsia.
Many days had passed since leaving the Winged Keepers. It was hard living on her own, but she made do with what she could scavenge. As long as Aife stayed safe and healthy, she didn't mind her own body growing weaker with each passing day.. But recently things had been getting harder. Prey had been getting scarce and she could hear the rumble of Aife's belly despite the pup being reluctant to complain.
The sky had grown dark and the air cold by the time Blaze found herself wandering the taiga, Aife sound asleep and carried securely in her jaws. Her paw-pads ached with each step but she refused to stop, knowing that being out in the open would put her and her daughter in danger. She had to find somewhere safe before the thought of rest could take hold of her mind.
She froze when she saw what appeared to be two lights in the distance, reminiscent of fireflies but too deadly still to be the little fire bugs. Her eyes narrowed at the sight, her hackles raising as she took a careful, calculated step forward and prepared to turn tail and run at the first sign of danger.
It was only when she got closer that she realized it was a pair of eyes staring back at her, a golden-orange as bright as embers. She felt herself go rigid under the creature's intense and unblinking eyes, and felt pure terror when it lifted its head above the bushes, far taller than any wolf should be.
"Follow me." Whispered the beast, voice a low and gentle rumble. It was only at that moment that she wondered if this creature had heard her call after she had lost her trust in the Peak Watchers. "Please, for the little one's sake, follow me."
