花苔 Hanagoke was named after the large white patches of fur that covered her body, much like the white moss like plants that cover the trees and forest floor known as Reindeer Lichen.

緑発 Ryūfa didn't even need to describe the hunt's setup when 花苔 Hanagoke started stalking the carcass and pouncing, finishing the hunt with small nibbles at the throat. Excited, but smart.
