Elrond

During the lesson: Crimson Fury laid out different herbs for Elrond to smell with his eyes closed, huffing at him when he attempted to peek. Your nose is your strongest sense when it comes to identifying herbs!
During the lesson: Elrond was confused when he could catch the same scent in several spots, but Clover Moss's smirk explained it all. It was one of those tricky lessons and Elrond did everything to prove he was smart enough to track prey effectively.
During the lesson: Finally, after many trials and failed attempts that made other pups burst with laughter, Elrond let out a proper, long howl! Still somewhat high-pitched, but it couldn't be mistaken for anything else other than a growing, strong wolf.
During the lesson: The lesson today focused on relaying information accurately among pack members. Elrond sat with several other pups as they whispered the same sentence around the circle and tried to keep it the same, but when it came back to Crimson Fury it was hilariously different than when it started.
During the lesson: With the carcass tied to a straw string, Moss Claw pulled it to simulate prey movement. Elrond stalked and pounced on the "prey" successfully, and began to tear it apart before he was scolded to be more precise and not let food go to waste.
During the lesson: Elrond now understands how to interpret every ear position with alignment of the tail angle. It was so complex, but Chessie was a good teacher.
During the lesson: Kindred talked about the differences between hunting alone and hunting in a pack. Elrond listened carefully, trying to imagine the best role for himself in a hunting squad.
