Name means "Disaster, misfortune"

"You notice an old, ragged looking Grulla colored male, sitting alone in a shady, snow filled field, just outside of the forest. Initially, you had planned to ignore him, but you notice that the pack leader is casually walking out to greet him, you're not sure why, but you want to listen in. Every time you've visited before now, this old wolf has been alone, and you find that you're curious about his significance to the pack.

At first, the old wolf seems oblivious to his approaching alpha, however, much to both your surprise and apparently her own, he jumps up excitedly and rushes to greet Mineru, pouncing on her exuberantly, and tackling her to the ground. He laughs as she shakes them off with an eyeroll, but you spot a brief smile cross her muzzle as he falls back onto his haunches and stares up towards the stars, Mineru leaning against him and joining his longing search of the heavens. "Do you think I'll see them again?" He asks quietly, a conflicted expression crosses Mineru's face as she thinks about how to answer him, "Hogni's passing was... so unexpected", he continues, "and our mothers... Hera never got to meet you." The old wolf gazes down at Mineru, a sad look crossing his face as he watches her. "She would have loved you." He huffs softly, turning his attention back onto the sky above, Mineru sits quietly, listening very carefully to the older wolf's words.

"Our mom... she passed so quickly after you were born, we tried our best, but, to be honest... Hogni was never really an experienced father, he had nothing to do with any of his pups, and I..." he pauses briefly, taking in the cold, frigid winter air that hung around them, "I never had the chance to be a father... but we both loved you, we still do." He says softly, not bothering to look at his sister, who sits quietly beside him, sniffling occasionally as tears threaten to fall from her eyes. "You've made for an excellent leader, despite our own inexperience and all of our screw-ups while trying to raise you. They would be proud of you." He sighs deeply, as he keeps his focus skyward. "Promise me, that when my time comes, you'll continue to do your best, Ruru." He looks down at her, as she burries her face into his shoulder, tears falling freely at this point as she shivers and sniffles. "I promise... but please, Até... Leave me something before you go." She says softly, looking up at him with an almost pleading expression, the older wolf tilts his head to the side, a brief look of confusion overtakes his face, before her words seem to click with him. He sighs softly and pulls her into a tight hug "I don't know if I can, Ruru..." he holds her close to him as he ponders on what to say next, "I will try, though." He says, finally. That seemed to calm her down somewhat, the two sit quietly, stargazing together as they cuddle, you feel it's best to leave them be now, but it makes you wonder... will you see your own family again when your time comes?"
