Snaptwig

You wander even deeper into the haunted woods past the murky streams that cover the area in a thick fog, and on your trek, you notice behind a few overturned rotten trees is a moss covered cave. You venture inside and are greeted with the sight of another spirit. Eager to learn even more about the past from these spirits, you pad inside. Long tendrils of moss and leaves hang on the roof of the cave and taper down to the floor. You make your way around the plants, being careful as not to disturb them. As you pad further in you notice the spirit seems to be covered in a sort of moss, as their back is a deep emerald green. The spirit is laying down, unaware of your entrance, that is, until you step of one of the many scattered twigs around the den. The spirit's ear flicks as they turn to you and quickly stand up, bright yellow eyes narrowing at you as you intrude on their home.
"What do you want?"
"Oh, uh, hello, my name is Kikin. I am the groundskeeper of the Haunted woods, I was patrolling and stumbled upon your den, is it alright if I may ask who you are?"
"Sure, whatever."
...
"So, are you... gonna tell me your name?"
"Hm? Oh, it's Snaptwig, Alpha Snaptwig."
"Snaptwig? Oh! You must be-"
"Woodpack's leader? Yeah I am."
...
The former Woodpack leader looks at you with an unimpressed gaze, waiting for you to make the next move. After a long awkward silence, he sighs and finally speaks.
"Was that all you wanted to know?"
"Oh, no! I also want to know more about your past. You see, I talked to Nip, and he said-"
" DONT YOU DARE SAY THAT TRAITOR'S NAME!!"
Snaptwig's fire-like eyes burned with a rage that only matched that of a burning forest, lit by lightning. You flinched at the ferocity of their voice.
" Ok, ok, jeez. My bad. What did he even do to you?"
" He betrayed the packs is what he did!"
The spirit's gaze softens as he finishes, there seems to be a hint of sadness and betrayal to their demeanor. Snaptwig looks away from you to the entrance of the cave, appearing lost in thought. Before you know it though, their eyes are back on you, blazing with a rage of a long held grudge.
" Get. Out."
" W-what??"
" I SAID GET OUT!!"
You don't need to hear him twice, as you bolt out of the den, paws catching on the twigs, leaves, and moss surrounding the den. You definitely aren't going back there for a while, not until you find out the truth.
