Vera was chosen as lead wolf when Venus, the pack's last leader, fell severely ill. The packs lightseer chose Vera as alpha because he had seen something within her that came to him in a dream. Vera hesitantly accepted the decision to be chosen leader due to her shy and anxious personality. With the help of her best friend and companion, Rieka, she blossomed into her new role as alpha wolf.
Early in her rule of Gray River Pack, her heart yearned for romance. In the wake of this feeling she encountered Gorgo. He was a handsome older wolf who stood proud and strong, his mentorship towards the end helped many young pups. As he passed away, a piece of Vera's heart shattered, but she knew this day would come.
V has defeated many enemies in battle, created lifelong friendships, and helped those in need. Her selflessness has created a life for many unfortunate wolves who had nowhere to call home. Now her pack is thriving and welcoming travellers from all corners of the map.
